Yikes! Retail Therapy

This is something that many of us know and (maybe) do but just don't know by name.

Going on a shopping spree to ease inner tensions is what we call retail therapy. It's cool to do it from time to time but the more of a habit it becomes, the more problems it compounds.

Retail therapy invites unnecessary debt, often accompanied by a sense of guilt and growing anxiety about how to deal with that debt. If you can't tell, your mental health would be in shambles by the end of that period.

Long story short, a little treat from time to time could make you feel better, but retail therapy is NOT a good coping mechanism.
